THE BOOK THIEF by MARKUS ZUSAK

This easily accessible book for People of all Ages and times draws the actual lesson of the Holocaust and the lessons we can learn and apply in the present and the future.

The Holocaust was a singularly particular horror of an Universal Evil that has and can rise in all ages if we are ever complacent to the dangers of dogmas claiming superiority for themselves and inferiority of others.

The beauty of this Book is the introduction of Death himself conducting a Child on a tour of his most meaningful joints. To Death the Holocaust is no more than a slightly busier period than normal. For Death , it is the ideologies that yield his harvest that are important , he has seen them before , is seeing them now and has high hopes of seeing in the future. To counter this the Universal lesson for us to learn from the Holocaust is that we must never allow any ideology that will support the oppression and willful killing of innocent People to take root without challenging it through thoughts ; words and action.

The 2 part video below tells the writing process and methods of this gifted story teller and how he easily relates to telling compelling lasting messages for us all to learn through the eyes of a child.
